Gene is relaxed, grounded, and calm. He believes that the teachings of yoga – the need to be present, accepting, kind and compassionate can be applied to every aspect of life. As he says, yoga is practiced for an hour on the mat, and 23 hours off the mat. He believes that you should take what you learn in class and apply it in your daily life – to be more present, accepting, kind & compassionate.
