Where are we staying?

Hotel Komune resort and beach club is the most ideal getaway destination. The sun, sea, facilities, fantastic service and amazing food! In 2022, Jasmine and Leandra hosted Lab’s first ever Retreat there and it was a huge success, so we’re bringing it back this year again! A beautiful beach resort set on the lush East Coast of Bali, Hotel Komune is blessed with an unspoilt view of the world famous Keramas surf break!

Your retreat package with us will include a 3 nights stay at the Resorts Room, designed as a home base with all the amenities you need to kick start your day, and relax after a full day out. You may choose a queen bed or two single beds (depending on Twin Share / Single occupancy). All rooms come with a private bathroom and high-speed Wi-Fi internet. Fresh drinking water is provided in large glass bottles. Please bring your own empty bottles to fill up if you prefer smaller ones.

Can I arrange Twin Share with a friend?

Certainly! Just let us know who you’d like to share with after you sign up and we will make the necessary arrangements. In the event you are travelling alone and you have chosen Twin Share, we will limit twin sharing to guests of the same gender.

    What time should I arrive?

To give yourself ample time to settle in, plan to arrive at the hotel by 4.30pm. There will be a welcome dinner at 6.30pm. Should you arrive at the hotel early, you may leave your bags at the reception and explore the resort and beach first. There is no guarantee of early check-in.

    What should I wear?

Bring your most comfy activewear and beach attire. Besides the daily classes, you are free to organize your own time and activities. Casual and comfy is key!

Do I need to pack my own props?

Good news, you can travel light. All props, mats and towels will be provided for! Unless you have special props (e.g. knee support pads or your own favourite towel), otherwise, we’ll provide everything else!

      Is there a daily schedule?

We’ll be conducting classes daily and you have the option of joining us!

7am Rise and Shine with Barre
8am Breakfast at your own leisure
      11.30am Mat Flow
12.30pm Lunch at your own leisure
      5.30pm Evening Stretch
      6.30pm Dinner and chill

I don’t really wanna do all the classes in a day. Is that okay?

It’s all up to you! Lab will provide 3 classes daily but they are entirely optional. Of course we highly encourage you to attend all the sessions by Lab but this is your retreat and break. Spend it the way you love!

Why is there such a big chunk of free time in the afternoon? What can I do?

We have curated the schedule in such a way that you have several hours in the afternoon to explore on your own, or simply chill out by the beach or pool, or treat yourself to a spa session. You can check out the day tours available too, or simply hop on a taxi to the nearby Safari Park, Waterfall or beaches.

What type of meals are provided?

There are three amazing dining places at Komune:
              – Komune Beach Club (International cuisine, including Indonesian)
              – Health Hub (Organic food with lots of vegetarian options)
              – Surfers Warung (Traditional Balinese food and specialties)

                Can I extend my stay?

Hotel Komune will be delighted to have you around longer! Just approach the hotel reception when you arrive and make the necessary arrangements with them directly. Note that our package covers accommodation from 19-22 July 2024. Check-out is on 22 July 2024 by 11am.

What health and medical facilities are available in the event of an emergency?

Hotel Komune is equipped with sufficient first aid and medical kits. For emergencies, there is a hospital that is within 5 minutes drive away.
