As a Baptiste Power Yoga Affiliate, we include the Baptiste methodology as part of our repertoire of offerings. We invite students to discover their power through these added tools.

CLASS TYPES

YOGA 101

A great place to start and to revisit the absolute fundamentals of yoga. You will move into key poses that are comfortably challenging and learn key alignment — all while breaking a good sweat.

YOGA POWER

The perfect step up from 101 classes! Our themed class where we will be leading you into a peak pose. You will be guided at a steady pace suitable for you to learn new poses and skills, to feel empowered to play with Flow classes, or simply dabble in some fun.

YOGA FLOW

This is a step up from Power classes. Flow classes are made to move you dynamically and get your heart rate up as you keep pace with steady breathing. The creative play between the key poses you learn in 101 and Power classes will leave you with greater body awareness. Interesting variations are introduced during class for you to decide how you wish to challenge yourself.

YIN YANG

Build up warmth, strength and stamina with a dynamic Yang sequence, and wind down with softening Yin stretches held for a longer duration to work on the deeper tissues. Suitable for both newbies and seasoned yogis looking to get the best of both worlds.

YOBARRE

YOBARRE (pronouned yo-bär) A fusion of Yoga and Barre Jasmine, creator and founder of Lab Studios, created this class by combining two of her favourite ways to move. Yobarre delivers the signature Barre Lab burn put together in intelligent sequences and yoga flows that Yoga Lab is known for. Already love yoga? Be in for a real yummy bum burn treat while we pulse in those Warrior 3s. Already love barre? Build a deeper mindbody connection as we introduce more breath with movement.

YIN

Revitalise your tissues and cultivate a calm mind with this slow practice. Each pose is held for 3-5 mins to reach the deepest layers of your tissues and will leave you feeling open and relaxed. Great for all looking for a chill practice to stretch out desk-bound postures and a balanced counterpart to more intense exercises.

BAPTISTE POWER VINYASA

Founded by Baron Baptiste, Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga focuses on asana (poses), meditation, and self-inquiry and is intended to be adaptable to any level of physical ability. This accessible, yet challenging and flowing form of yoga will lead you to a state of transformation. Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga heals as it detoxifies. It will sculpt, tone and hone the muscles of your body and your mind. Classes are based on a structure of 53 asanas in 11 series, throughout a 90, 75, or 60-minute class. The studio is heated to a comfortable 33-35 degrees. Students are inspired to be authentic and present in their practice and translate these qualities into their lives. Within the consistency of this proven structure, there are many modifications and variations that serve the needs of all experience levels. Get ready to take your practice seriously but yourself lightly, as you explore your edge, discover your strength, and awaken your spirit!

PRENATAL

Designed for preggies to relax, strengthen and prepare themselves - physically and mentally - for birth. Suitable for preggies past their first trimester (12 weeks). A space space to connect with your growing baby in a supportive, non-judgemental group.
