No dance experience whatsoever needed. But an open heart ready for some serious burn all while having so much fun! 

Classes feature the signature burn to sculpt and tone to achieve the results of a dancer's body. Choreographed with music and designed for a full body workout. There will never be a dull moment pulsing with us.

WHAT IS BARRE?

Barre fitness is a total body workout focused on small isometrics movements. Barre combines fundamental techniques of ballet, movement flow of Yoga, and precise body principle of Pilates which makes it an effective way to sculpt, and create a long, lean and toned body in ways that few other workouts can. It is low-impact but absolutely challenging!

DO I NEED A DANCE BACKGROUND?

Everyone can benefit and enjoy barre classes at Barre Lab. Absolutely no ballet, dance or pilates experience required. A desire for a low-impact challenge is all that you need! Have fun, and discover a new sense of grace and strength with us 💕

CAN MEN JOIN BARRE CLASSES?

Yes of course! Barre works on any body type.

1) The emphasis on tiny movements in barre works each muscle to its absolute edge making it a great way to enhance endurance and strengthen muscles!

2) Most men have tight, stiff bodies and are not stretching enough; barre brings into play active and passive stretches making it easy to loosen up tight muscles and improve flexibility.

There are incredible benefits and interesting challenges of barre for men that will surprise you when you start practicing!

BARRE 101

BARRE 101


Barre 101 is a beginner class. These classes debunk the stereotype that barre classes are only for dancers. Barre is for all ages, backgrounds and levels of fitness. They are easy on your joints and is totally customisable to make it as tough (or easy) as you want it to be. Furthermore, they help you shed calories, burn fat and build lead muscle. Learn the basics and fundamentals of barre in this beginner classes.

BARRE POWER

Building from Barre 101, the Barre Power class is a combination of cardio, strength and conditioning which focuses on building muscle endurance, total body-toning and sculpting. The class expands on Barre 101 by providing a higher level of body conditioning by using props and the moves are choreographed to music. Expect to feel the burn, sweat while having fun in this high energy class. Prior barre classes experience is recommended before taking Barre Power class.

BARRE FLOW

Barre Flow is designed to challenge your strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination. Expect seamless transitions between exercises. Classes are choreographed to give you an invigorating workout. It's a ballet-inspired class for those who want to work on coordination and dance moves.

BARRE STRETCH

Open to both beginners and advanced members, Barre stretch is a full body, 55 minute class focused on toning and lengthening major muscle groups. It marries the precision and core strengthening of Pilates and the mindfulness and flexibility of yoga. It teaches you how to stretch past your own limitations and improves blood circulation throughout the body. This class offers passive and dynamic stretching techniques for the whole body. The pace is slow in order to achieve proper technique.

BARRE BURN AND STRETCH

Our favourite half and half class. We start off with power class to get the barre burn and sweat going and finish off with a yummy stretch session to leave you feeling balanced.

PRENATAL

Designed for the pregnant mummies to build a stronger mind and body. Incorporating breathing techniques and a long relaxation. We believe this class is the perfect way to stay active during pregnancy. 


This class is suitable for second and third trimester mummies.
